 The Academy of Modern Danse (AMD), Chennai, India, is a prominent dance institution affiliated with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD). LA Dance Connection USA, United Kingdom of Alliance (UKA).

Founded by Mrs. Kokila Hariram and Gowtham, AMD holds the distinction of being the first to introduce the CSTD's diverse curriculum to India.

AMD offers a wide range of dance styles, including Modern Jazz, Classical Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Social dance forms. We cater to various age groups and skill levels, providing structured training and fostering a passion for dance.  

Being affiliated with CSTD, a globally recognized dance organization, allows AMD to offer standardized training and examinations, potentially opening international pathways for aspiring dancers.  The academy emphasizes technical proficiency, artistic expression, and a comprehensive understanding of dance. 

AMD plays a significant role in Chennai's dance scene, contributing to the growth and development of dance education in the India and  winning accolades internationally.
